The food was good! Service was the worst ever.

Don't order the sirloin. Especially if you have dentures. I do t but was really tough. Flavor good just tough.

I ordered chicken fried chicken and fries. my chicken was dry and no flavor. my fries were over cooked, and was hard as a rock, couldn't eat them and only eat half of chicken. I got a i'm sorry from waitress., should've only charged half price!!!!!!

Unbelievable! Steak was cooked to perfection and service was awesome! They took us in on a Thursday night 5 mins before closing time and treated us like royalty. Definitely going back... Can't wait.

I give a 2 star rating because the server did her job and the appetizer was good. I had the Filet medium my husband had the New York strip well done. My steak was rare and his was medium. He ordered sauteed mushrooms on his steak. They were burnt and cold at the same time. We sent the steaks back and tried again. The steaks were still not right they were chard more on the out side. This was my anniversary dinner I left disappointed we have eaten at several Colton's restaurants . Usually they are good maybe the cook was off their game or didn't have grill right not sure. A $65.00 meal should have been better.

The food was pretty good. Nothing extravagant. Prices were reasonable. My server seemed to need a little polishing. I was visiting for my sons graduation. She deemed we were there long enough and tried to rush us out.

The food in house was always good but I guess that's because if you had an issue, your waiter was always there to fix the problem. The take out on the other hand has always been ridiculously inconsistent, even now with that being all that is available. One time my partner's steak would be perfect and my dinner wouldn't even be seasoned. And then the next time my dinner would be perfect and his steak would be raw! Out of the multiple times we have ordered to go from there we might have gotten one order that was perfect. All I ask is to get the same quality to go that we would get inside the restaurant.

Great food, great service.

I stopped for lunch and ordered a mushroom burger fries and ice tea. When it came the burger was a little undercooked. But the fries were cold. Not warm but cold. And only had about 8 fries on the plate. Waitress came by once to refill my tea but only had sweet tea, said she would be right back. 15 minutes later came back with a refill. Not a real good experience for the price.

Great place to eat and enjoy family time. Also they serve alcohol so makes it a 5 star place for me and my wife.

Long wait on a busy night, still got phenomenal service. Used their wits to time it so the kitchen wouldn't be flooded- got everything extra fast because of it. Perfect date night, even with the wait!

Colton's could have better employee's that are a lot friendlier and better manners.

The cooks are not consistent but friendly service.

Hot, fresh, and rightly seasoned! Server was very attentive. Relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend. Ordered steak, baked potatoe, and salad. Steak was juicy and tender! Yum!

Food and service was great. Shrimp alfredo was outstanding! Steaks cooked right. Clean restrooms.

The food here is very good. I recommend the stake (it is a steak house after all..)

This is Chuck. Just wanted to say thank you to Colton's for providing groceries to buy during this time. If you are having trouble finding meat, call Colton's! They have all sorts of different meat and sides you can buy as groceries!

Was approached by a waitress begging for $50. Said her electricity was being turned off at 6 p.m. I gave it to her. Felt bad but I believe it was a scam. Her name is miranda dee. Staffed by beggars and thieves. Be careful.

The service was awesome, they do it right. The food has it's good days and bad days. If they are busy, expect to wait. I ordered my steak medium and it's a hit or miss everytime whether it is medium or well done. The southwestern egg rolls are the best appetizer!

Nice and clean. Food a bit pricey but good. Coffe a bit to strong for my liking. Chicken fried chicken is ok. Chicken fried steak is better. Steak was cook exactly how it was ask to be done. Great cut of beef.

I was here with a group 4:45, Thursday night for dinner, coming from south of Mountain Home for dinner and Batesville’s Christmas lights. I ordered the Hawaiian chicken with baked potato. The chicken looked beautiful, with a nice flavor sauce. But it was WAY OVERCOOKED and dry, with too little sauce to swallow it easily. I had to drink water to help get it down. My group was on a time schedule, so with the time it took to get served, and an over-busy waitress, I didn’t ask for a replacement in fear of holding up my group. I relied on rice and baked potato to fill me up. But I had to ask for extra sour cream since the small amount they’d placed in potato was too little for the, also dry, potato. I later discovered at least two others who had the grilled chicken felt the same way.I really wish now I’d asked for a replacement, because it was the real downer to the evening.

Lunch was great. No line to wait on. Our food came at a reasonable time. They served the soup and salad before main course. The waitress was awesome. Food was great

just want say that your servers go above and beyond I’m a truck driver and was passing through one of your servers named dawn. Made sure I was took care of she cut my steak for me because of me not having real silverware with me. Vary much appreciated I’ll definitely stop by again when passing through thank you

This is the 3rd time the order wasn't right...things added, sauces missing, steak not even remotely cooked correctly, And when a remake was brought it was more fat and gristle than meat. Our waiter tried his best to fix the situation, but the quality...to be blunt...sucked. I live in town but will not willingly go back. Been disappointed too many times.

Coming through town with work. I Just finished a late lunch here. The Hawaiian ribeye was delicious. I ordered medium and it was closer to medium rare. May be the cook but may want to order yours up. The house salad was also very good. More like a full salad. I’d highly recommend anyone coming through.

We were in town for a funeral and this place was recommended. Service was good, the food was fresh and tasty! We were all very pleased with our experience.

We visited from out of town. We ate with a small group of people. 2 of the orders were steak tips, which were very salty. 3 of us ordered mushrooms for a $2.00 extra charge. When meals came out, my wife had 1 small slice of a mushroom, my mother in law didn't have any, and I had 3 slices that didn't even add up to 1/2 mushroom. If you pay extra for something, you should get it! It was a friday night so it was busy and service wasn't the best. We ordered 3 loaded baked potatoes... 1 had only butter, 1 had only sour cream and 1 had nothing. We had to ask for butter, sour cream and steak sauce a few times because sever kept forgetting. By the time the steak sauce was delivered, the person requesting it twice, had almost finished the entire steak. Not a real pleasant experience.

If I could give them less than one star I would. My family and I went in all together about twenty people. We called in advance so they had a heads up. They said it would be a short wait for a table. Totally lied. We waited for an hour and still had no table. It may be policy to not hold tables. However it's not a policy to lie. They have lost a customer for life.

Nice atmosphere great food

Great service and friendly. Had the bacon cheeseburger with Mac and cheese....it was good. One of the only handful of places in Batesville that your able to get a drink.

Waitress was VERY inattentive. Food was ok. Over priced for what you do finally get.

Hawaiian chicken was delicious 😋. Sweet potatoe fries came with a sauce that was to die for.

I have always loved Coltons here in Batesville, but here lately it has been awful. Our order was for carry out and my Husband had the 6 oz sirloin and it was clearly not 6 oz it was maybe 3. The roles were bigger than the steak. They gave us no utensils. This has been an on going problem when carrying out. Please get with the program guys!!

Can't go wrong with the Del Rio ribeye! Always a pretty good steak.

I had baked sweet potato and side salad and had plenty to eat with the rolls served. They were out of sweet potato fries which I ordered first. The server dropped one place setting of silverware and we had to remind her when she brought the food out. No refills on water until we were done.

Fun place with nuts, peanuts. The catfish was tasty but the ribs were burned up, not kidding 18.99 I did get a "sorry" from the waitress. To be fair, the New York strip was perfect which another person in our party ordered. I would go back.

I got a $50 meal to go plus tip and it was undercooked. It also did not have my side order of steamed vegetables. No straw included and we had to ask for our unsweetened tea. Trouble with a to order is you usually do not check until you get home. For the price we paid there was no attention to details.

Service was pretty good. Our server got all the orders correct. The cooks however got the steaks wrong. All the mediums were medium rare. Several of them had stringy tough veins that couldn't be chewed successfully. Not even close to other steak houses. My salad and grilled asparagus were very good. I probably won't get a steak here again. Plenty of other good choices on the menu though. I'll give them another try sometime.

We were traveling and chose to eat at Colton's on a whim. I am SO glad we did! The restaurant was comfortable and clean. The service was great and the steaks were perfect.! Thanks for a great date night❤
